From rural backroads to small towns to cities, one meets scenes that one would think are out of place for the "richest" country in the world as so many like to call the United States. The images in this collection present a picture that either many don't know about or refuse to acknowledge. From rural backroads, to small towns to cities there are buildings, homes, structures that should have been torn down long ago either because they are eyesores, present a danger to people or the environment. Yet these monuments of decay remain in place some it seems for decades.
